Tim McGraw<\/strong><\/a> [GAC’s February Artist of the Month<\/a>] played his father in The Blind Side<\/em>, but that doesn\u2019t mean Tim picked Michael Oher\u2019s<\/strong> team, the Baltimore Ravens, to win the Super Bowl. Of course, that doesn\u2019t mean Tim wasn\u2019t cheering for the Ravens either. He made his Super Bowl pick \u2013 San Francisco 27-17 \u2013 backstage in Las Vegas via a YouTube video but made his love for Michael and the Tuohy family known.<\/p>\n

Self-professed sports fanatic Darius Rucker<\/strong><\/a> started his Super Bowl tweets<\/a> on Friday, pointing out Super Bowl Sunday\u2019s one fatal flaw. \u201cThe only thing bad about Super Bowl Sunday is that we have to wait till August for football to start again. When is the draft?\u201d he wrote. He kept up a lively stream of tweets throughout the game, responding to fans and re-tweeting some of his favorite comments from fans and celebrities alike. <\/span><\/p>\n

Martina McBride,<\/strong><\/a> who often shares photos — via Twitter<\/a> — of dinner parties and family gatherings, threw a viewing party for the big game \u2013 for herself. \u201cSuper Bowl party for one! #longbusridehome\u201d she wrote, sharing a photo of a slice of pizza and a Pale Ale.<\/p>\n

Rascal Flatts\u2019<\/a> Jay DeMarcus<\/strong>\u00a0and Joe Don Rooney<\/strong> were having plenty of fun together though. The pair, along with their wives, were in attendance at the Super Dome. “Joe Don and I!!! Having a blast!!!!” Jay tweeted<\/a>, sharing a photo of the two in the stands – and revealing that he was wearing a Cincinnati Bengals jersey.<\/p>\n

It was Beyonce\u2019s<\/strong> halftime performance that got country\u2019s female artists tweeting, however.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the best half time shows I’ve seen! @<\/span>beyonce<\/strong><\/a> KILLED IT!!!\u201d Kristen Kelly<\/a><\/strong> wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kelly Clarkson<\/strong><\/a> was also fan. \u201cOkay so …..Beyonce just killed it at the Super Bowl! Holy cow she is so hot and sang her tail off!! Destiny’s Child, SO GREAT!!\u201d she tweeted.<\/a><\/p>\n

Carrie Underwood<\/strong><\/a> too was full of praise for Beyonce. \u201c…and @<\/span>Beyonce<\/strong><\/a> just made all the rest of us singers look stupid! In the most awesome way possible! Way to work it! #<\/span>BestEverHalftimeShow<\/strong><\/a>\u201d she wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And according to Carrie, Baltimore fans can thank her husband, Mike Fisher<\/strong>, for each of the Ravens\u2019 scores. \u201cUmm…every time @<\/span>mikefisher1212<\/strong><\/a> goes to the bathroom, the ravens score…just sayin’\u201d she tweeted as the third quarter began with another Baltimore touchdown.<\/p>\n

The unexpected power outage also bought a few reactions from country stars. Lady Antebellum\u2019s<\/a> Charles Kelley<\/strong> knew exactly who to blame for the blackout. \u201c@<\/span>beyonce<\/strong><\/a> was so bootylicious that she knocked the power out at the #<\/span>SuperBowl<\/strong><\/a> \u2013ck\u201d he tweeted.<\/p>\n

“The finger lights we got from the NFL for @<\/s>beyonce<\/strong><\/a>‘s halftime performance sure just came in handy,” Joe Don Rooney<\/strong> tweeted<\/a> from his spot in the stands.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’ll bet the power company in the Big Easy is going nuts!!!\u201d wrote Charlie Daniels<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tim’s Super Bowl prediction turned out to be off base. The Ravens won by a score of 34-31.<\/p>\n
