Carrie Underwood takes on a sinister role in her new video, “Two Black Cadillacs.” Based loosely on Stephen King’s Christine, a novel about a car with a mind of its own, Carrie sports an all black wardrobe, including a fierce pair of heels, smoky eyes and a devilish stare. She slowly drives her Cadillac through the countryside, in no hurry to arrive at her destination.
Elsewhere, a funeral is occurring with two widows in matching black veils and void of emotion standing by a coffin. Scenes of Carrie’s car in a dark alleyway, the cheating husband in its headlights, cut in throughout the video before the car finally mows the man down – and then repairs itself.
Who is the killer? Is Carrie’s character even real? Watch the video below to put the pieces together!
