Most everyone has a Christmas memory of getting that one special present they’d asked Santa for. Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley loved to roller blade but didn’t have skates of his own. He’d borrow a friend’s skates until one Christmas, his parent’s got him his very own – except there were two left skates in the box. That didn’t stop Brian.
“I put them on and I roller bladed the whole day,” he said. “Christmas day it was closed, ya know? So I put two of the left roller blades on and I roller bladed the whole dang day until we went back the next day. I had to roller blade. I got them for Christmas. I opened them up. I think I might have cried a little bit but I put two lefts on… It was ridiculous.”
Florida Georgia Line just celebrated their first No. 1 hit with their debut single “Cruise.” They also just released their debut album, Here’s To The Good Times.
