Brantley Gilbert made an appearance on ABC’s Nashville last month alongside Chris Young. While he’s not planning to trade his guitar in for a script anytime soon, he enjoyed the experience, thanks largely to Connie Britton who stars on the show as Rayna James.
“Working with Connie Britton was definitely an honor,” he said. “It was really cool. I met Hayden Panettiere as well, just briefly, but Connie was definitely sweet.”
It turned out that Brantley and Connie already had a connection of sorts. Jana Kramer, who is engaged to Brantley and has an acting career in addition to her music, has worked with Connie. “She remembered Jana and told me to tell her ‘hello,’” Brantley said. “We had a cool conversation about that. It was a lot of fun. She’s a very, very sweet lady.”
Brantley is currently headlining his Hell On Wheels Tour with special guest Kip Moore.
