Kip Moore will make his acting debut on ABC’s Nashville on Wednesday, February 27. In the episode, Kip plays himself and attends a surprise birthday party for Deacon, played by Charles Esten. While Kip enjoyed being on set and meeting the actors, he doesn’t believe the show accurately portrays the real Nashville.

“Is it exactly the way Nashville is? Not 100% by any means, but it’s TV,” Kip said. “They’ve got to put the drama in, and you’ve got to do something entertaining for people. I think there’s bits and pieces that are somewhat correct. I don’t think it’s portraying us in a bad light. It’s entertainment. I don’t think that everybody believes that’s exactly how Nashville is.”

Kip just released his new single, “Hey Pretty Girl,” to radio. He’s currently on tour with Brantley Gilbert and will join Toby Keith’s Hammer Down Tour this summer. Kip’s episode of Nashville airs February 27 at 10pm|9c on ABC.
