“This album is very generous and has 15 songs,” Randy said of his new project. “We just kept on recording things and they all started to turn out great – we didn’t really know when to stop.”

Randy cut his musical chops around his home state of Mississippi. While he’s appreciative of the start he got, he had a solid vision of who he wanted to be as an artist when he moved to Music City.

“I had spent twelve, thirteen years in Mississippi playing cover bands and learning how to work a crowd,” he said. “But I was dead set on not playing in another cover band in Nashville. If anyone was going to know who I was in this town, I wanted them to be hearing music that I was part of creating.”

Randy will join Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert for a string of dates on their Locked and Reloaded Tour and has a number of fairs and festivals lined up this summer. To see his Walmart Soundcheck performance, click here.
