The Band Perry is enjoying their latest No. 1 song with “Better Dig Two.” The song has just claimed the top spot on the Billboard Country Chart for a second consecutive week and has also made it to No. 1 on Mediabase. The trio is relieved that the lead single from their sophomore album has been received by both fans and radio.

“We had so many nerves going into this second album phase,” Kimberly Perry said. “We were biting our nails and it’s like, ‘Oh I just hope people really love everything that we’ve been working on’ and ‘Better Dig Two,’ it definitely got us started off on the right foot.”

“People have said it has teeth and I guess it means aggressive with the drums, the banjo, the electric guitars,” Neil Perry added. “That’s what I love that people are saying about it.”

The Band Perry just announced that their new album will be called Pioneer. The project hits stores April 2. Watch their “Better Dig Two” video here.
