Rascal Flatts has a show scheduled for Valentine’s Day but Gary LeVox will be sure to find a way to celebrate the day with his wife Tara. He vividly remembers the day he met Tara and says it was love at first sight.
“I was actually signing backup for a gospel artist and we had done a show in Decatur, Alabama,” he said. “A lady came up and was standing with her daughter and we were just talking. And I knew at that moment that I was looking at my future wife. It was the weirdest thing ever.”
Gary and Tara will celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary this May while Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren will celebrate their first Valentine’s Day as husband and wife. The pair were married in October and fortunately for Thomas, Lauren understands his hectic life.
“Lauren is in full support of me,” he said. “As a new artist and a wife, together I don’t think anyone can fully know what to expect, but we have totally battled all these new things together and she’s been very supportive and I think she will always be supportive. I’m so blessed to have someone like that in my life.”
Lucky for Thomas, Lauren knows his career is just getting started. He’ll spend most of 2013 on Jason Aldean’s Night Train Tour as well as release his debut album, meaning the pair will likely spend a lot of time apart. “She’s my best friend,” Thomas said. “We can really get through anything together.”
